MarketSearch Software is a Stock Market Analysis program that will let          the operator search thousands of stocks listed on the New York Stock            Exchange.  The purpose of MarketSearch is to be able to analyze past            performance of any stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange.  Market         Search graphically displays the high, low and close for each month since        1981.  Also shown: stock symbol, industry code (with industry code              description) and high for the 12 year period. Fortune 500 Rank is included      for stocks in the Fortune 500. MarketSearch will allow the operator to          perform the following searchs:                                                                                                                                        1.  Look up the past 12 year performance of any listed stock.                                                                                                   2.  View the Relative Price Strength chart of any listed stock.                     The Relative Price Strength is a six month rolling average of                   the stock performance with any distributions or stock splits                    accounted for in the graph.                                                                                                                                 3.  Search for stocks by Symbol, Company Name or Industry Code.                                                                                                     a)  searching by Symbol                                                             Enter Symbol and the program will plot the last 12 years.                       Pressing the B (Browse) key will cause the program to                           advance to the next stock.                                                                                                                                  b)  searching by Company Name                                                       Enter any part of the company name and the program will                         search for the closest match and ask you if the name found                      is the name you want.  If you answer Y (yes) the program                        will draw a graph for the company.  If you answer N (no)                        the program will search for the next closest match and                          again ask you if the name found is the name you want.                           Pressing the B (Browse) key will cause the program to                           advance to the next stock in alphebetical order.                                                                                                                c)  searching by Industry Codes                                                 Searching for an Industry Code is just like searching for a                     company name.  Enter the code and the program will search                       for the first company with the code selected. The program                       will ask you if this is the company you want. If you answer                     Y (yes) the program will draw a graph of the company.  If                       you answer N (no) the program will look for the next company                    and again ask you if this is the company you want.                              Pressing the B (Browse) key will cause the program to                           advance to the next stock with the same industry code. Note                     the difference from items (a) and (b) above. This feature                       can be used to call up all companies with the same industry                     code.
